Who’s Behind the Blog
Hi, I’m Eric, a graphic designer based in Southern Utah.
I specialize in creating print-on-demand products like t-shirts, stickers, hoodies, accessories, and other custom merchandise. My love for design started back in 2006, when I took my first class in Adobe Illustrator. Vector art hooked me instantly — the clean lines, endless colors, and ability to create anything I could imagine.
Over the years, my design style has leaned toward minimalism, clean typography, geometric shapes, simple forms, and subtle textures. But I also love exploring new styles and techniques — learning and evolving is a huge part of why I create.
My go-to tools are my iPad Pro, Apple Pencil, and the Affinity suite (Designer, Photo, and Publisher). These tools give me the precision and flexibility I need to bring my ideas to life.
Why This Blog Exists
I started Design By ET because I know what it’s like to be new to design — excited, curious, but sometimes unsure where to start. My goal is to help you build confidence with Affinity by Canva and enjoy the process of creating something from nothing.
If you’re ready to learn, explore, and grow your design skills, you’re in the right place.
Whether you’re following along with a tutorial, experimenting with a new technique, or just exploring what’s possible, I’m glad you’re here. This blog is a place to learn, create, and grow—one project at a time.
